6-hour water service shutdown set for Kauai community

Kaua‘i Springs wins lawsuit against Planning Commission

Kaua‘i beach among most polluted

In a beach water quality report to be released today by the Natural Resources Defense Council, Hanama‘ulu Beach County Park tied for 10th place with two Mainland beaches in a list of polluted beaches in the nation that exceed national standards.

WARNING: Waste water discharge in Princeville

Clean Water Branch had been notified of a waste water discharge from a lift station at Princeville on Kauai due to a power outage. 
According to preliminary estimates, more than 1,500 gallons discharged into waters adjacent to Sealodge Beach.
CWB officials believe the waste water may not have entered into the ocean due to heavy vegetation.

Kauai residents to get water quality reports
