Burglars hit Kauai middle school

The Kapaa facility is vandalized and its computers are stolen
Burglars broke into Kapaa Middle School over the weekend, setting off fire extinguishers and stealing about a dozen computers, officials said yesterday.

Police charge 2 with attempted murder in shooting

Two males were arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder in connection with a drive-by shooting this weekend on the Eastside, county officials said yesterday.
