The Department of Land and Natural Resources is set to hold an informational meeting about proposed improvements to the wastewater system at Ha‘ena State Park, according to a press release. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the Hanalei School cafeteria.
The project was initiated to address concerns that the existing wastewater system serving the park’s comfort station is affecting a culturally and archaeologically sensitive site in the park.
