Green waste is not being accepted at the Hanalei transfer station until further notice due to safety concerns caused by muddy conditions in the drop-off area, a county news release states.

Green waste drop-off services at the Hanalei transfer station will resume when conditions at the site improve.

On the Eastside, the Kapa‘a transfer station is closed today due to repair work being done on a broken water line on Kahi Road, which leads to the entrance of the facility.

Green waste is also not accepted at the Kapa‘a transfer station until further notice due to muddy conditions in the drop-off area.
