Record-tying or -breaking temperatures continue to be set in Hawaii, the National Weather Service said.
A high temperature of 86 in Lihue, Kauai, yesterday tied a record for July 16 set in 2004, the Weather Service said.
Conversely, a record low temperature was set in Tuesday morning at Kahului, Maui, where the mercury dipped to 63 degrees, breaking the old record of 64 for July 15 set in 1950.
