Flash Flood Watch for Kaua’i

Some unsettled weather was developing to the north and west of the state this morning bringing showers and thunderstorms along the leading edge of a front spreading across Ni’ihau and Kaua’i, the National Weather Service said.

The major portion of the weather front is expected to remain to the west of Kaua’i but may generate southeasterly winds and pushing rainy weather over the western end of the state before the trade winds return this weekend, forecasters said.
