Temporary traffic signals have been installed at the intersection of Kuhio Highway and Kolo Road in Kilauea on Kauai.

The State Department of Transportation said the signals are currently in a flashing mode.

Flashing red lights should be treated as a stop sign and approaching vehicles should come to a complete stop before proceeding through the intersection. Flashing yellow lights signify that approaching vehicles should proceed through the intersection with caution.
