The National Scholastic Surfing Association Hawai‘i Conference announced Contest #7 will be held at Pinetree’s Hanalei on Jan. 27 and 28.

This is the seventh contest in a series of eight.

Hawai‘i’s student surfers will strive to accumulate points for an invitation to the regionals and ultimately the nationals in California.

Hawai‘i dominated last year’s National Contest, bringing home several titles.

The contest starts at 7:30 a.m. Alternate dates are Feb. 3 and 4.

Kealia is the alternate surf location.
